What it is
The Vaillant Control Box Back, part number 0020210615, is the rear housing section of the control box assembly used across the ecoTEC plus, Ecofit Pure and Ecofit Sustain boiler ranges. It carries and locates the printed circuit board within the appliance's control enclosure. It is supplied as the back section only.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracking or brittleness in the plastic housing, often after prolonged heat exposure
- Broken or snapped mounting lugs that prevent the board from sitting square
- Distortion of the back section so the PCB no longer seats correctly
- Discolouration or scorching around the board mounting points
