What it is

The Vaillant 0020195222 is a hinge used on ecoTEC VU and Etec+ VU boiler casings. It forms part of the casing door or panel mounting, allowing the panel to pivot and seat correctly against the appliance. It is a small mechanical component, so wear or damage affects how the casing closes and aligns.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The casing door or panel sags or drops when opened
  • The panel no longer sits flush against the appliance casing
  • The hinge is stiff, seized or noisy in operation
  • Visible cracking, distortion or corrosion at the hinge
  • The panel will not stay closed or will not align with its fixing points

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model and revision against the fitment list above
  • Check the hinge position on the casing and how many are required
  • Compare the part number on the existing component with 0020195222
  • Verify the casing panel is undamaged, as a bent panel will not seat correctly on a new hinge
