What it is

The Vaillant 0020192211 is a fan assembly used on Vaillant EcoTec Sustain 34 appliances. It moves combustion air into the burner and carries flue gases out of the appliance, and its speed is regulated by the boiler's control system to match demand. It is listed for the VUW 346/7-2 model family.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler locks out or fails to ignite, with a fan-related fault code logged
  • Fan noisy in operation, with rumbling, scraping or bearing whine
  • Fan does not spin up on a call for heat, or spins intermittently
  • Reduced or erratic flue performance, with the appliance shutting down mid-cycle
  • Visible damage, contamination or stiffness when the fan is turned by hand

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the data badge before ordering
  • Check the existing fan's part number and connector arrangement match this unit
  • Inspect the flue and air intake paths for blockage or debris before fitting a replacement fan
  • Work on combustion components must be carried out by a competent, registered engineer
