What it is
The Glow-worm 20181042 is a 12-litre expansion vessel supplied with a mounting bracket. It is used within a sealed heating system, where the internal air cushion absorbs the change in system water volume as it heats and cools, helping to keep system pressure stable. The part is identified by the manufacturer part number 20181042.
Before you order
- Check the existing vessel is a 12-litre unit and that the bracket mounting arrangement matches the installation.
- Verify the part number 20181042 against the appliance documentation or data plate before ordering.
- Ensure the system is depressurised and isolated before removing or fitting the vessel.
- Confirm the thread type and size of the system connection on the existing vessel against the installation.
