What it is
This is a hose supplied by Vaillant under part number 0020166550. It is used on Vaillant VPM pump units, where it forms part of the pipework connection between components. The hose is a service part intended for replacement when the original has degraded or begun to leak.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible weeping or dripping at the hose or its connections
- Cracking, splitting or surface perishing of the hose material
- Staining or crusting around the hose ends indicating a slow leak
- Loss of system pressure that traces back to the hose
- The hose feels soft, swollen or brittle compared with its normal condition
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model is a Vaillant VPM 15 D or VPM 30 D
- Check the existing hose against the part number 0020166550
- Inspect the connection points for damage that may also need attention
- Verify the fault is at the hose and not at an adjacent joint or fitting
