What it is
The Vaillant 0020144606 is a pressure gauge used on Vaillant ecoTEC gas boilers. It displays the system water pressure on the boiler's hydraulic circuit so the reading can be checked against the manufacturer's specified range. It is listed under gas boiler spares for the ecoTEC PLUS and ecoTEC PRO families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The needle sticks, jumps or fails to return to zero when system pressure changes.
- The gauge reads a pressure that does not match the actual system pressure at the filling loop.
- Water weeps or drips from the gauge body or its connection to the hydraulic block.
- The dial face is fogged, discoloured or the scale is no longer legible.
- The gauge reads zero or sits off-scale with the system correctly pressurised.

- Check the part number on the existing gauge or in the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance.
- Confirm whether the gauge is supplied with its sealing washer, as the old seal should not be reused.
- Isolate and drain the boiler before removing the gauge, and check the system is refilled and vented afterwards.
