What it is

The Vaillant 0020143514 seal kit is a set of sealing components for Vaillant ecoTEC VU GB gas boilers. It is used to reseal joints and connections where the existing seals have degraded. The kit is listed for the VU GB 1006/5-5 and 1206/5-5 R2 and R3 appliance families.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible water or gas leaks at sealed joints.
  • Seals that are cracked, hardened or perished.
  • Weeping or damp patches around the appliance connections.
  • Repeated pressure loss with no other obvious cause.
  • Seals that have been disturbed during servicing and will not reseal.

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and revision match the fit list.
  • Check the existing seal kit part number or manufacturer's parts list.
  • Inspect the joint faces for corrosion or damage before fitting new seals.
  • Ensure the boiler is isolated and safe to work on before starting.
