Vaillant Nut 0020143506

This is a nut supplied by Vaillant under part number 0020143506. It is a fixing component used on Vaillant ecoTEC VU series boilers, where it secures the associated joint or connection within the appliance assembly. It is listed by the manufacturer as a miscellaneous component rather than a service kit item.

• The nut is missing from the assembly after previous work on the appliance.
• Threads are stripped, crossed or flattened so the nut will not torque down correctly.
• The nut shows corrosion, pitting or heavy surface rust at the joint.
• The nut has been rounded off by a previous attempt to remove or tighten it.
• A joint it secures is weeping or showing signs of a poor seal.

• Confirm the part number 0020143506 matches the number shown in the manufacturer's parts list for your appliance.
• Check the appliance model and variant against the fit list above, as the ecoTEC VU range covers several outputs and revisions.
• Inspect the mating thread and the joint the nut secures before fitting, as a damaged thread will not be corrected by a new nut.
• Verify the quantity required for the specific joint being worked on.
