What it is
The Vaillant 0020135162 wiring harness is a multi-core electrical loom used on ecoTEC PLUS and VUW series gas boilers. It carries low-voltage control and sensor signals between the boiler's main components, including the printed circuit board and the associated plugs and connectors. It is supplied as a wiring spare for the ecoTEC PLUS range.

- Intermittent faults, lockouts or error codes that clear and return without a consistent cause
- Boiler failing to fire, or cutting out shortly after ignition, where the board and sensors test correctly
- Visible damage to the loom: chafed, cracked, heat-frayed or brittle insulation on the conductors
- Loose, corroded or discoloured terminals in the harness plugs, or a plug that will not latch securely
- Localised burning, scorching or a smell of hot plastic around the harness or its connectors
