What it is
The Vaillant 0020135141 is a fan gasket for Vaillant gas boilers in the ecoTEC PRO, VU and VUW families. It seals the joint at the combustion fan, preventing flue gases and condensate from escaping the fan housing. The gasket is a service item and is replaced when the fan is removed or when the existing seal has degraded.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, hardening or flattening of the gasket material
- Soot staining or condensate weeping around the fan joint
- Whistling or unusual noise from the fan area
- Flue gas smell detected near the boiler casing
- Combustion readings drifting outside expected values at service
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and build variant (R1, R2, R4 or R6) against the fit list
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge against the listed models
- Inspect the fan mounting face for damage or distortion before refitting
