What it is
The Vaillant 0020135128 throttle jet and gas coding plug kit is a gas-type conversion component for Vaillant ecoTEC PLUS appliances. The throttle jet meters gas flow to the burner, while the grey coding plug identifies the appliance as set for propane (LPG). It is supplied as a kit for gas type P applications.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance is being converted from natural gas to propane and requires the correct jet and coding plug.
- Combustion readings fall outside the tolerances given in the manufacturer's instructions for the gas type in use.
- The gas rate at the meter does not match the figure stated for the appliance and gas type.
- The existing coding plug is missing, damaged, or of the wrong colour for the gas supply.
- Burner performance or ignition is inconsistent following a change of gas supply.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and variant against the fitment list above.
- Confirm the appliance is running on propane (LPG) and requires the grey coding plug.
- Check the existing throttle jet and coding plug against the manufacturer's instructions before removal.
- Gas-type conversion work must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer.
