What it is
The Vaillant 0020135114 Support PHE is the mounting support for the plate heat exchanger on compatible ecoTEC Plus and ecoTEC Pro gas boilers. It holds and locates the plate heat exchanger in position within the appliance, and is listed in the 6-coil variant. It is a Vaillant component for the ecoTEC condensing boiler family.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The plate heat exchanger is loose, misaligned or able to move in its mounting
- Visible corrosion, distortion or cracking on the support
- Water weeping or staining around the plate heat exchanger mounting area
- Vibration or rattling from the heat exchanger assembly that cannot be traced to another component
- The support will not hold the plate heat exchanger securely when refitting it after service
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model and revision (R1, R2, R4 or R6) against the fitting list
- Check the GC number on the appliance data badge matches the model listed
- Verify the existing support is the 6-coil type before ordering
- Inspect the plate heat exchanger and its seals at the same time, as disturbance during replacement can affect them
