Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite and locks out on an ignition fault
- No spark at the burner when the boiler is called for heat
- Repeated lockouts that clear after a reset, then return
- Visible erosion, pitting or contamination of the electrode tip
- Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulator on the electrode
