What it is
The Vaillant 0020127800 is a compressor used in Vaillant Geotherm heat pumps. It compresses refrigerant within the heat pump circuit, driving the heat transfer cycle that provides heating and hot water. It is listed for the VWL 45/1 A 230V models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Heating output drops, or the heat pump no longer reaches its set temperature
- The compressor is unusually noisy or trips the electrical supply on start-up
- The compressor does not start when the heat pump calls for heat
- Repeated fault codes or lockouts relating to the refrigerant circuit
Before you order
- Confirm the model and serial number on the appliance data plate match the fitment list
