What it is
The Vaillant 0020127791 is an evaporator assembly used in Vaillant heat pump appliances. It forms part of the refrigerant circuit, where it absorbs heat from the outdoor air or ground loop to feed the heat pump cycle. It is listed for the VWL 45/1 A 230V platform.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Reduced heating output or the unit failing to reach its usual flow temperature
- Ice or frost building up on the evaporator coil and not clearing during defrost cycles
- Refrigerant loss traced to the evaporator coil or its joints
- Visible corrosion, impact damage or deformation of the coil fins
- Compressor running with abnormal pressures or repeated fault codes on the heat pump controller
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and variant against the manufacturer's parts list for your unit
- Check the fault diagnosis points to the evaporator rather than another part of the refrigerant circuit
- Verify the part number 0020127791 matches the number on the existing component
- Note that refrigerant circuit work must be carried out by a competent engineer with the correct equipment and certification
