What it is
The Vaillant 0020127213 is an automatic air vent (de-aerator) used on geoTHERM VWL air-to-water heat pump units. It continuously releases trapped air from the heating circuit, preventing air locks that restrict flow and cause noise.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Gurgling or bubbling noises from the heat pump or pipework
- Air returning repeatedly after manual bleeding
- Water weeping or dripping from the vent body
- Reduced flow or uneven heating with cold spots
- System pressure dropping without an obvious leak elsewhere
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the part number 0020127213 on the existing component
- Isolate the appliance and depressurise the circuit before removal
