Signs this part needs replacing
- The valve or actuator the coil serves does not respond when the appliance calls for it.
- Intermittent operation, with the coil working only when the appliance is warm or after being disturbed.
- A burnt or overheated smell around the coil, or visible discolouration and swelling of the coil body.
- Continuity or resistance readings across the coil that fall outside the expected range for the appliance.
- Repeated fault codes or lockouts linked to the circuit the coil controls.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model number against the fitment list above, as the coil is listed only for the VWL 45/1 A and VWL 65/1 A 230V ranges.
- Check the existing coil's part number and connector arrangement match 0020127181 before removing it.
- Isolate the appliance electrically and follow the manufacturer's service instructions before testing or replacing the coil.
