What it is
The Glow-worm 0020118638 is an NTC sensor used as the domestic hot water sensor on Betacom boilers. It is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor that reports stored or delivered hot water temperature back to the boiler's control board. This part supersedes 0020061613.

- Domestic hot water temperature reads incorrectly or drifts from the setpoint
- Hot water output fluctuates between hot and cold during draw-off
- Boiler locks out or displays a sensor-related fault code
- DHW demand is not recognised, so the boiler fails to fire for hot water
- Sensor resistance readings fall outside the expected range for the water temperature
