What it is

The gas section is a Heatline component used within the gas valve assembly of Capriz PLUS and Monza gas boilers. It forms part of the gas-carrying path between the gas inlet and the burner, and is supplied under Heatline part number 0020116832.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The boiler fails to light or drops out shortly after ignition
  • The burner flame is unstable, weak or uneven across the burner
  • Gas pressure readings at the valve are inconsistent or out of specification
  • Visible damage, corrosion or leakage at the gas section body or its seals
  • Repeated lockout faults traced to the gas valve assembly

Before you order

  • Confirm the appliance model and GC number against the fitment list above
  • Check the existing gas section for the part number 0020116832 or a superseding code
  • Verify the fault has been traced to the gas section rather than the valve solenoids, leads or PCB
  • Ensure the work will be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
