What it is

The Vaillant 0020111000 Gas Section is a replacement gas-carrying component used in Vaillant water heating appliances. It forms part of the gas train and governs the passage of gas into the burner assembly, so its condition directly affects ignition reliability and steady flame performance. Vaillant lists this item under the spare part type Gas Valves.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The appliance fails to light, or lights only intermittently
  • The flame establishes and then drops out shortly afterwards
  • Burner flame is weak, uneven or unstable across the burner
  • Repeated lockouts traced back to the gas train
  • Visible soiling, corrosion or damage around the gas section body

Before you order

  • Read the model and serial number from the appliance data badge and match them against the part number
  • Compare the number stamped or printed on the existing gas section with 0020111000
  • Check whether any gasket or seal is disturbed during removal and order a replacement if needed
  • Gas-carrying components should only be worked on by a competent engineer
