What it is
The Vaillant 0020086371 is an ignition and control electrode set for ecoCRAFT VKK gas boilers. It provides the spark for burner ignition and the flame sensing signal used by the boiler control board. This is the old-execution variant, supplied as a set with gaskets and nuts.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out on an ignition fault
- No spark, or a weak and intermittent spark, at the electrode
- Visible cracking, erosion or carbon build-up on the electrode tip
- Cracked or damaged ceramic insulator
- Repeated lockouts that require a manual reset
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check whether your appliance uses the old or new execution electrode
- Inspect the existing electrode, gasket and nut condition before removal
- Verify that part number 0020086371 matches the component being replaced
