What it is
This is a cover supplied by Vaillant under part number 0020085703. It is intended for the Allstor VPS 300/2 appliance family, where it closes off and protects the relevant section of the unit. It is a service part, not a functional component of the heating or hot water circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Cracking, splitting or brittleness in the cover material
- Distortion or warping so the cover no longer sits correctly
- Missing cover, leaving the section underneath exposed
- Broken or missing retaining clips, screws or fixings
- Discolouration or heat damage indicating the cover has been affected by the appliance
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and, where available, the serial number against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check the part number 0020085703 matches the cover currently fitted
- Inspect the fixings and retaining points, as these are often damaged at the same time as the cover
- Verify the cover is the correct item for the Allstor VPS 300/2 variant installed
