What it is
The Glow-worm cable motor, part number 0020080266, is an electrically driven actuator used on the Glow-worm Energy 35 Store boiler. Signs this part needs replacing
- The valve does not move when the boiler calls for heat or hot water
- The motor runs continuously or buzzes without operating the valve
- The boiler locks out or shows a fault linked to valve movement
- No change in valve position when demand changes
- Visible damage, a burning smell or scorching at the motor body or cable
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Glow-worm Energy 35 Store
- Check the part number 0020080266 against the marking on the failed component
- Inspect the wiring connector and mounting points for damage before fitting
