What it is
The Vaillant cable tree (ignition harness), part number 0020080108, is a wiring assembly that carries the ignition circuit connections within the boiler. It is listed for Vaillant ecoCRAFT VKK series appliances and sits within the boiler's wiring group. It is a serviceable electrical component rather than a control or sensor.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite, with no spark at the ignition electrode.
- Ignition faults that appear intermittently and change when the harness or its plugs are moved.
- Brittle, cracked or heat-damaged insulation along the harness leads.
- Corroded, loose or discoloured terminals at the harness connectors.
- Visible arcing, burning or scorch marks at a plug or on the cable.
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list.
- Check the part number and connector layout of the harness already fitted.
- Isolate the electrical supply before removing or fitting the harness.
