Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler pressure rises sharply when the system heats up and drops again once it cools.
  • The pressure relief valve discharges water during normal heating cycles.
  • Water is visible from the vessel's Schrader valve when the charge is checked.
  • The vessel feels heavy or waterlogged when tapped, indicating a failed internal diaphragm.
