The Glow-worm ignition electrode (right-hand) is a replacement spark component for the Betacom family of gas boilers. It is mounted so that its tip sits in the combustion chamber, where it generates the high-voltage spark that lights the gas burner at the start of every heating or hot water cycle. Manufactured by Glow-worm for the Betacom 24 and Betacom 30, it restores dependable ignition once the original electrode has eroded, cracked or become fouled.
