What it is
The Glow-worm toothed washer, part number 0020038265, is a small fastening component used within the assembly of Ultrapower Sxi appliances. Its toothed profile bites into the mating surface to resist loosening under vibration and to spread load at the joint. It is listed by the manufacturer for the Ultrapower Sxi 100 and Sxi 170 models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The washer is missing from the joint after a previous strip-down
- Visible corrosion, pitting or flattening of the teeth
- The teeth no longer grip the mating surface, allowing the fastener to work loose
- Weeping or seepage at a joint the washer seats against
- Distortion or cracking of the washer body
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check the part number 0020038265 matches the item you are removing
- Inspect the joint for any further worn or missing fasteners before reassembly
- Confirm how many washers the assembly requires
