What it is
The Saunier Duval pump block assembly, part number 0020037988, is the plastic pump housing that carries the circulating pump on Isofast Condens and Thema Condens gas boilers. It forms the hydraulic body through which heating water is circulated around the appliance and system. This assembly supersedes the earlier part code S1024300.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or staining around the pump housing or plastic block
- Boiler running with little or no circulation, with radiators failing to heat
- Overheat lockouts or repeated boiler shutdowns during a heating or hot water demand
- Grinding, humming or kettling noise from the pump area
- Visible cracks, distortion or scale build-up on the plastic block
Before you order
- Confirm the boiler model against the fit list above
- On an Isofast Condens F35E, check the appliance serial number against 0400446159 to confirm the correct variant
- Check the existing pump block for the part number 0020037988 or the earlier code S1024300
- Inspect seals and connections while the appliance is drained, as these are not supplied with the block
