What it is
The Vaillant sealing ring 1 1/4 is a circular sealing component used to make a watertight joint at 1 1/4 inch connections on Vaillant heating appliances. It is supplied as a kit of three under part number 0020032001. The ring is used across Flexotherm and Arotherm Plus heat pumps and VWS/VWF units where a leak-free seal is required.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Weeping or a visible water trail at the joint the ring seals
- Dripping from the connection during operation or after the system reaches temperature
- A ring that has hardened, flattened or lost its profile
- Cracking or splitting visible on the ring surface
- A joint that continues to leak after the connection has been correctly tightened
Before you order
- Confirm the connection size is 1 1/4 before fitting
- Check the appliance model against the fitment list above
- Confirm how many joints require a new ring, as the kit contains three
- Have the manufacturer part number 0020032001 to hand when checking the appliance parts list
