What it is

A sealing gasket manufactured by Glow-worm, part number 0020026459. It is listed for the BG330 PLUS, Flexicom and Ultimate 24H gas boiler families, where it seals a mating joint within the appliance to prevent leakage. It is classed as a gas boiler spare in the O-rings, washers and gaskets group.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Weeping, damp staining or crusting around the joint the gasket seals
  • The gasket is visibly hardened, cracked, flattened or deformed
  • Leak detection fluid or a gas detector indicates a leak at the joint
  • The gasket was disturbed during servicing or component removal and will not reseal
  • A joint that continues to leak after being tightened to specification

Before you order

  • Check the model and GC number on the appliance data badge against the fit list above
  • Confirm which joint on the appliance is being sealed, as more than one gasket may be used
  • Inspect the old gasket before ordering to confirm it matches the profile and size required
  • Treat any disturbed gas-carrying joint as requiring a new gasket on reassembly
