Signs this part needs replacing
- The clip is cracked, bent or has lost its spring tension
- A component it retains is loose, rattling or able to move in service
- Corrosion or heat damage is visible on the clip
- The clip is missing altogether after previous work on the appliance
- A cover, bracket or pipe connection it secures is not held firmly
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model against the fitment list above
- Check the manufacturer's parts breakdown for your appliance to confirm this clip is the one required for the position you are working on
- Inspect the surrounding component for damage, as a failed clip is often a symptom rather than the cause
- Have the appliance model and, where available, the GC number to hand when ordering
