What it is
The Glow-worm 0020020730 is an extended M5 nut used in the assembly of Flexicom, Ultimate and BG330 gas boilers. It provides a threaded fastening point where a standard nut would not reach, securing internal components within the appliance. This part is manufactured by Glow-worm for use across the models listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Corrosion or rust on the nut body or threads
- Damaged or crossed threads preventing correct tightening
- Rounded hex flats that will not hold a spanner or socket
