What it is

This Vaillant harness (part number 0020018070) is a wiring loom used in the EcoTEC PRO range of gas boilers. It carries the electrical connections between the boiler's internal components. It is supplied as a wiring spare for Vaillant gas boilers.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Boiler fails to power up, or cuts out intermittently with no other obvious cause
  • Persistent fault codes relating to sensors or internal communication after other components have been checked
  • Visible damage to the loom, such as cracked insulation, chafed wires or scorched connectors
  • Loose, corroded or heat-damaged connector plugs that will not seat correctly

Before you order

  • Check the model details on the boiler data badge against the fit list above
  • Compare the part number on the existing harness with 0020018070
  • Isolate the electrical supply before removing or fitting any wiring
  • Inspect the connector layout on the existing harness to confirm it matches the replacement
