What it is
The Glow-worm 0020014403 is a 20-plate domestic hot water heat exchanger for Flexicom and Ultracom boilers. It transfers heat from the primary circuit to the domestic hot water supply, heating the water drawn at the tap. The plate pack is the component that separates the two circuits, so its condition directly affects hot water performance and the integrity of the separation between system water and domestic water.
Before you order
- Check the part number against the appliance data badge and the manufacturer's literature for the boiler model in front of you.
- Confirm the plate count of the unit being replaced matches the 20 plates stated here.
- Check whether the seals or washers for the connection points are already held, as none are listed with this item.
