The Glow-worm 0020014183 is a pack of ten O-rings manufactured by Glow-worm. An O-ring is a circular elastomer seal that sits in a machined groove and is compressed between two mating faces to stop water escaping from a joint. On heating appliances these seals are found at unions, valve bodies, pump connections, sensor pockets and pipe stubs, wherever two components are clamped together and a watertight barrier is needed.

Because the seal is compressed rather than bonded, it can be renewed without replacing the surrounding casting or pipework. This pack contains ten rings, so a single order covers several joints on the same appliance or a number of service visits.
