What it is
The Vaillant 0020009867 tundish is a discharge fitting for Vaillant hot water and boiler systems. It is a funnel-type component that receives water discharged from the pressure relief or safety valve and directs it to a visible drain point. It is listed in the Vaillant Gas Boiler Spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water dripping or running from the tundish outlet, particularly during heating or hot water cycles
- Visible cracks, splits or damage to the tundish body
- Staining or mineral deposits around the tundish, suggesting a repeated discharge
- Loose or leaking joints where the tundish connects to the discharge pipework
- A tundish that no longer sits securely or directs discharge to the drain point
Before you order
- Check that your appliance model appears in the Fits list above before ordering.
- Confirm the part number 0020009867 against the existing tundish, or the appliance documentation, before fitting.
- Inspect the existing discharge pipework and connections so the replacement suits how the tundish is currently installed.
