What it is
The Charnwood 002/HW31 is a throat plate for Charnwood stoves. It is the plate that sits at the top of the firebox, above the fuel bed, where it deflects flue gases towards the flue outlet and shields the stove top from direct flame. It is listed under fire spares as a throat plate and is identified by the manufacturer part number 002/HW31.
Before you order
- Check the part number on the stove data plate or in the appliance manual against 002/HW31 before ordering.
- Throat plate dimensions and profiles differ between Charnwood models, so confirm the stove model as well as the part number.
- Inspect the baffle and any firebox seals while the throat plate is removed, so that a second order is not needed.
