What it is
The Charnwood 002/CG07 is a left-hand carrier bar support used in Charnwood solid fuel and wood-burning appliance fireboxes. It forms part of the bars, grates and grills assembly that carries and locates the grate components within the appliance. The L.H. suffix indicates the left-hand side of the assembly.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and check whether a left-hand carrier bar support is the correct side for your firebox.
- Check the existing component against the part number 002/CG07 before ordering.
- With the grate stripped down, inspect the carrier bar and adjacent grate parts for distortion or heat damage and replace anything else that is worn.
