What it is
The Ravenheat 0012MIC09010/0 is a flow switch micro switch for the 3-way diverter valve fitted to Ravenheat gas boilers. It clips onto the diverter valve body and provides the electrical switching signal that the boiler uses to register the valve's position. It is a switch component only, not a complete valve assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water or heating when there is a demand, with the diverter valve not being signalled to move.
- The boiler fires for heating but does not respond to a hot water draw-off.
- Intermittent operation, with the boiler switching between heating and hot water erratically.
- The boiler locks out or fails to complete its sequence when a switch signal is expected.
- The diverter valve moves but the boiler does not register the change in position.
