What it is
The Ravenheat Red CSI Mod ignition control board is the printed circuit board that governs ignition and burner sequencing on Ravenheat CSI 85 and CSI 85T boilers. It reads inputs from the appliance's switches, sensors and thermostats, drives the ignition sequence, and enforces the safety protocols that shut the boiler down when a fault is detected. It is supplied as a replacement board for the CSI range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite and goes to lockout on a call for heat
- No response from the appliance when a demand is applied
- Intermittent firing or repeated lockout cycles during operation
- The burner sequence stops partway through start-up
