What it is
A Honeywell gas valve and burner pipe assembly supplied by Ravenheat for use in its CSI 85A and HE 85A boiler families. It controls the flow of gas to the burner and forms the pipe connection between the valve body and the burner assembly. It is listed under gas valves in the Ravenheat spares range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to ignite or repeatedly goes to lockout
- Flame is weak, unstable or extinguishes shortly after ignition
- Gas valve does not open or close on demand, or the boiler stays in a no-demand state
- Audible whistling or unusual noise from the valve or burner pipe area
- Signs of leakage, corrosion or damage around the valve body or pipe connection
