What it is
The Vaillant 0010034495 is a fan assembly used in Arotherm PLUS /6 air-to-water heat pump outdoor units. It moves air across the evaporator coil, drawing heat from the outside air into the refrigerant circuit. The fan is driven by the unit's control electronics and forms part of the outdoor unit's air-side assembly.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Outdoor unit fan does not run when the compressor is calling for heat
- Fan runs at reduced speed or is noticeably noisy in operation
- Visible damage to the fan blades, hub or mounting
- Excessive play or roughness when the fan is turned by hand
- Fan-related fault code logged by the heat pump controller
Before you order
- Confirm the model and variant on the outdoor unit data plate against the fit list above
- Check the fan motor and blades for mechanical damage before condemning the assembly
- Verify the supply and control signals to the fan before ordering, so a wiring or board fault is not misdiagnosed
- Have the unit isolated and made safe before any work on the outdoor unit
