What it is
A 230 V heating element for the condensate drain, manufactured by Vaillant and supplied under part number 0010034424. It is fitted to the condensate drain path on Arotherm and Arotherm PLUS air source heat pumps, where it keeps the drain clear of ice during cold weather operation. The element prevents condensate from freezing and blocking the drain outlet.
