What it is
The Vaillant 0010030685 is a conversion cable for a high-efficiency pump. It connects the pump to the appliance's wiring harness on Vaillant Combicompact and Thermocompact models. The cable allows a high-efficiency pump to be wired into these older appliance families.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The pump does not run when the appliance calls for heat or hot water
- Pump operation is intermittent, with the appliance cutting in and out
- The cable or its plug connector shows heat damage, chafing or exposed conductors
- Corrosion or a loose fit at the pump connector
- Pump-related fault codes appear after a pump change
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the pump currently fitted and whether a conversion cable is required for it
- Inspect the existing cable routing and connector type before removal
- Check the appliance's wiring diagram for the pump connection point
