What it is
This is Vaillant's high-efficiency modulating pump. It circulates water from the boiler through the main and secondary plate heat exchangers and on to the central heating radiators, modulating its speed to reduce energy use.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Central heating radiators heat up slowly or unevenly
- Boiler locks out on a low-flow or pump fault
- Pump is noisy, humming or vibrating excessively
- No water movement felt through the pump housing when running
