What it is
The Vaillant 0010029279 is a gasket used on Vaillant Ecotec and Ecotec PLUS condensing appliances from the 2023 Cs/1-5 range. It forms a sealing joint between mating faces, preventing water or flue gas leakage at that connection. It is a service part intended for maintenance and repair work.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or damp staining around the joint face
- Gasket material hardened, brittle or visibly cracked
- Sealing face flattened or deformed so it no longer sits proud
- Scale, corrosion or debris trapped on the sealing surface
- Joint opened for other work, where the gasket cannot be reused
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model against the fit list above
- Check the part number against the existing gasket or the manufacturer's parts list
- Have the appliance GC number to hand where available
- Check whether more than one gasket is needed for the joint being worked on
