What it is
The Vaillant 0010029061 is a burner for Vaillant EcoTec condensing boilers. It sits in the combustion chamber and delivers the gas/air mixture for controlled combustion across the heat exchanger. It is the component that governs flame shape and stability, so it directly affects combustion quality and flue gas readings.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Unstable or rough flame at the burner during a combustion check
- Sooting, discolouration or heat damage on the burner surface
- Repeated ignition lockouts or flame supervision faults
- Poor combustion readings, including rising CO or drifting CO2 at the flue
- Visible distortion, cracking or corrosion of the burner body
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model and version against the fitment list above
- Check the part number on the existing burner before removal
- Verify the appliance is a 2023 Cs/1-5 variant, as earlier versions may differ
- Combustion-related work should be carried out by a competent Gas Safe registered engineer
