What it is
The Vaillant 0010028550 is a diverter valve body for Vaillant Ecotec PLUS appliances. It directs water flow between the central heating and domestic hot water circuits. This part is the valve body only.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Domestic hot water runs cold or fluctuates in temperature
- Heating operates when only hot water is demanded
- Diverter valve fails to switch between heating and hot water modes
- Visible leaks or scale deposits around the valve body
- Boiler locks out or displays a diverter valve fault code
Before you order
- Confirm your appliance model matches the fit list above
- Check the existing part number on the valve body
- Isolate and depressurise the system before removal
- Verify whether the valve body is supplied separately from the actuator

Fitment listings are a guide, not a guarantee. Plant-room assemblies get modified on site more often than not. Send us the GC number off the data badge and a photo of the existing valve and we will confirm before anything is dispatched.
