What it is
The Vaillant 0010028461 is a back panel for the Arotherm 5/5 VWL 75/5 AS 230V S2 heat pump range. It forms the rear casing section of the outdoor unit, closing off the back of the appliance and shielding the internal compartment from the weather. It is listed by Vaillant under part number 0010028461.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Corrosion, rust staining or perforation across the panel surface
- Impact damage, dents or deformation that stops the panel seating correctly
- Distorted, cracked or elongated fixing holes and mounting points
- Water ingress or damp at the rear of the unit traced to a poorly sealing panel
- Panel no longer sits flush, leaving the internal compartment exposed
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and variant — S2 or S2 R1 — against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check that part number 0010028461 matches the panel currently fitted to the unit
- Inspect fixings, seals and adjacent panels for damage that may also need attention
- Check the model plate on the outdoor unit before ordering
