What it is
The differential water pressure switch is a Ravenheat component used across the manufacturer's combi, system and combistore boiler ranges. It monitors the pressure difference created by water flow through the appliance and signals the control circuit when a hot water draw-off is detected. Part number 0005PRE11015/0.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to fire on a hot water draw-off while central heating continues to work
- No hot water production despite the pump running and the appliance being powered
- Boiler locks out or drops to fault during DHW demand
- Intermittent hot water, with the appliance firing only at high flow rates
- DHW demand not registered by the control board, so the fan and ignition sequence never start
